In 2012, the patios of Cordoba were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Originating from Roman times, they allow us to imagine the lifestyle that existed more than 1000 years ago in the city of Córdoba. Full of flowers, fountains and relics, the patios are always full of light and color. Since 1921, a competition has been organized during the first two weeks of May to see who can decorate a patio the best: a sort of garden design competition but on a patio!
