Activity Highlights

Chianti region is a heart-warming part of Tuscany. Its subtly rolling hills, winding roads, far-stretching vineyards and quaint villages are unmistakably unique. Small group guided tours that take you on an expedition around Chianti are an excellent way to relax and get away from the ever-present crowds of Florence.

It's not every day you are on holiday in Tuscany. So, when you are here you want to ensure you pick the best day trips from Florence! Our Tuscany Vespa Tours are designed to make your experience in this region is truly special. You will see the scenery like the locals who get around on Vespa scooters on a daily basis. Plus, it’s not just about sightseeing. We also invite you for a guided tour of the winery, tasting of local wines as well as an authentic Tuscan lunch.

Keeping the group small, we ensure you don’t feel like another sheep in the flock. On the contrary, the tour will feel homey and intimate, like spending a sunny day in the country with your friends. Relax, breathe in the aromas of the Italian countryside, and spoil your taste buds with fresh local produce.

History Sneak Peek

The alluring ruby-red color defines the identity of one of the most esteemed wines in the world: Chianti. The wine is a sumptuous blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, Canaiolo, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. It has been defining the region’s borders, history, culture, and prosperity since its humble beginnings.

And what is a Vespa? What is all the fuss about?

Vespa scooter is an ambassador of Italian style worldwide. Seeing the post-WWII destruction, Enrico Piaggio (Italian businessman), recognized the need for a new mode of transport. He commissioned the skillful Corradino D’Ascanio to create a motorcycle suited to get around the bomb-damaged cities.

Although Vespa scooter is very stylish, the choices driving its design were mainly practical. For instance, he moved the gear lever onto the handlebar for easier access, positioned the seat to be both safe and comfortable, and hid all the working parts behind panels (to keep the rider’s clothes in immaculate condition). The company released the first prototype in 1946. Piaggio named it “Vespa” meaning “wasp” because of its narrow waist and buzzing sound it made.

There is so much to see, smell, taste, and learn! Go on an exploratory adventure on a vintage Vespa; you won’t regret it. Book the Tuscany Vespa Tours today!
