This experience was really worth it - we had a great access to the mysterious stones and visited the Bath with amazing guide and driver! A day-trip of my life I will remember forever!!

Great

Our trip was just as we hoped. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a real interest in the history. On our trip he added just the right amount of information and humor. In each part we learned about the area and on our return about the neighborhoods of London. Our driver was unbelievable driving the tour bus on narrow roads and maneuvering around vehicles.

This tour was the best part of our trip to London. Kiran was our driver, and he did a fantastic job--we felt safe in his care during transport. Graham was our guide, and he was a hoot! He explained things clearly and did an amazing job giving directions for where to look. They both exceeded our expectations for this tour, and Stonehenge was just breathtaking. I wish our whole trip could have been with Graham and Kiran.

Just Splendid!

Our tour guide was Chris (who is also an archaeologist) and our driver was Justin. The first stop was Lacock, we really only had about 20 minutes in this village. It was beautiful but we only had enough time to use the facilities and walk down to the church. Then we were off to Bath. According to Chris, our tour allowed for 2 hours in Bath and most tours only give you 1. It was extremely busy in the Roman baths but we made it through in about an hour and fifteen minutes. It took up most of the trip so we weren't really able to see much else before we had to leave. We walked down a few streets on our way back to the coach. It is a beautiful town but I think I'd like to come back over a weekend sometime as it really needs at least two days to explore. We continued on towards Stonehenge and stopped at a nearby pub for dinner. We didn't initially add it onto our tickets but upgraded for £15 per person on the coach. The food was decent but a traffic delay caused us to arrive a bit late so we only had about 40 minutes. When we arrived at Stonehenge it was after visiting hours. According to Chris, only about 6 tours per month are able to do what we were doing. We arrived around sunset and split our tour into two groups. We were allowed to go into the stone circle and really get a good look at this monument (without touching the rocks). It was a really amazing experience to see the rocks up close. Overall our tour guide, Chris, was really informative and entertaining. I really enjoyed his puns and 'dad jokes'. Our driver, Justin, was hilarious as well. He and Chris would go back and forth. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to check out Stonehenge.
