Every night this summer, and running well into November, enjoy open-air concerts on the Dragon Roof Terrace of Gaudi's Casa Batlló in Beautiful Barcelona.
, as they are so called, are a series of nightly performances of various different musical styles open to the public.
What is Casa Batlló?
Casa Batlló is another gleaming example of renowned architect and artist Antoni Gaudi’s unique vision and creative ingenuity.
Located on the Passeig de Gracia, Gaudi built Casa Batllo to be a residential building. The striking facade is a shining example of Modernisme and draws crowds captured by its strange beauty. Blue, green, red and purple, give way to balconies that lead up to a multi-colored tiled roof that represents St. George and the dragon he slew.
Inside, Gaudi continues to impress with whirlpool ceilings, lavishly decorated rooms, chandeliers, tiles and beautiful stained glass windows.
For the next 5 months, you can enjoy this spectacular building under Barcelona’s night sky, without the crowds and accompanied by a live musical performance at the Casa Batllo Magic Nights.
Although the chance to see a fantastic jazz, blues, pop or even flamenco performance al fresco
and atop one of the world’s greatest pieces of architecture may seem too good to be true, it's not. Tickets for Casa Batllo Magic Nights are available to everyone. All you have to do is jump on the official website
