Casa Batlló is another gleaming example of renowned architect and artist Antoni Gaudi’s unique vision and creative ingenuity.
Located on the
Passeig de Gracia, Gaudi built
Casa Batllo to be a residential building. The striking facade is a shining example of Modernisme and draws crowds captured by its strange beauty. Blue, green, red and purple, give way to balconies that lead up to a multi-colored tiled roof that represents St. George and the dragon he slew.
Inside, Gaudi continues to impress with whirlpool ceilings, lavishly decorated rooms, chandeliers, tiles and beautiful stained glass windows.

Opening Times & Getting There
Magic Nights at Casa Batllo open their doors at 20.00. This is when the hour-long tour of the premises begins. Then, at 21.00 the Casa Batllo concerts start, also lasting roughly one-hour.
What do the concerts consist of?
Casa Batllo concerts are very varied. There are jazz, blues, pop, rock and even flamenco performances to enjoy.
Last years highlights from July’s Casa Batllo concerts included Monica Guech, a Catalan singer, songwriter, and pianist. Lexter and English singer and songwriter from Oxford. And, DJ Raúl Orellana, who has been creating music and mixing for 35 years. The featured artists for 2019 will be released shortly!
