Discovery Walk in Porto’s Jardins do Palacio de Cristal: Fairytale Views and Better Conversations

Do you wonder where fairytales take their inspiration from? On this discovery walk, you’ll explore one of the most magical places in Porto - the Gardens of the Crystal Palace. Yes, it is as amazing as it sounds! As you solve location-based riddles created by our co-founders, Wendy and Kristina, you’ll unlock directions for breathtaking views, hidden passages, intriguing statues and gorgeous art. To make this walk even more memorable, we’ll share curious conversation starters. We'll invite you to share with each other where you want to travel next, or if you have to relive one day of your life forever - which day do you choose. You'll get to know these stunning gardens - and each other - so much better.

This playful walk across Porto’s Jardins do Palácio de Cristal sharpens your senses and encourages you to appreciate the most wonderful – and often hidden – details around you. Whether you know Porto or just start exploring here, this experience gives you a perspective on discovery that will inspire your curiosity wherever you go next. This trail is also available in Portuguese.

This discovery walk is an educational and fun activity for friends, couples, families with kids, curious locals, visitors, and team building. You can fully enjoy this experience of connecting with the city while staying in your own group.

Experience Instructions:

Start at the main entrance of Jardins do Palácio de Cristal.
End at Cais das Pedras.
We do not meet you at the start location, you will receive all information via email from us.
Play 7 days a week, between 09.00 and 17.00.

Important information:

• This is a self-guided city discovery experience

• You can play in a team of 1–5 people

• Right after booking, you receive the play link to the City Trail (sent by email from Secret City Trails)

• This trail is available in English and Portuguese 

• The link is valid for 90 days, starting on the date you booked the activity for

• Discover the city at your own pace, take as many breaks as you like

• You need internet connection and a little data. You'll play on your browser. No app download is needed.
