Venetian waterways and Grand Canal by gondola with commentary

The ride was beautiful just like everything else in Venice, particularly when you reach the grand canal. I was worried that sharing a gondola may damper the experience but truly did not hinder the experience.

Enjoyable experience, was easy to book on line, however a paper ticket was required.

The guide included commentary on architecture, history, flooding, trade, language, enough to fill in quite a few blanks. Very pleasant, just the right pace.
