The tour starts at St.Peter's square (piazza s.Pietro) where you will get a brief history of the piazza and the Basilica. Then off to the Vatican Museums, where you will visit The Belvedere Courtyard, Pine Cone Courtyard, Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries, Pio Clemente Museum, The Rotunda and the Raphael Rooms.
Your guide will then lead you to the Sistine Chapel where you can enjoy the Creation of Adam and the Final Judgment by Michaelangelo.[readmore] The tour ends with a 30 minutes Guided Tour in St. Peter's Basilica, where you will have the option to visit The Cupola (€10 fee by elevator), visit the Tombs of the Popes (free), rub St.Peter's foot (which according to tradition brings good luck and health) or spend the rest of the day in the Basilica on your own time.
