Four of the top tropical holiday destinations on earth

We all need a holiday from time to time, don’t we? Sometimes, when life takes over, the need to immerse ourselves in a different culture with new food and a totally fresh way of life for a week or two is necessary. For many, a tropical destination is the desired choice.

Tropical locations provide people with a break from the stresses of city living, while also offering warm waters, beautifully pristine beaches, stunning scenery, and an array of refreshingly juicy cocktails. Additionally, for wildlife lovers, there’s an abundance of wildlife in tropical destinations, especially if you venture into the jungle and see anything from tropical birds to apes, similar to the giant jungle apes featured in the Epic Ape slot games. Even for divers, tropical climates offer amazing coral reefs, too. Essentially, from underwater adventures to having the option of relaxing in the most tranquil of settings, a tropical holiday destination has plenty to offer.

In order to enjoy a tropical adventure to its maximum, it’s certainly worth venturing to a destination that has a glowing reputation. Thankfully, we aren’t short on options on this glorious planet of ours, although there are some leading contenders. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at four of the top tropical holiday destinations on earth.

The Abacos, The Bahamas

When people think of tropical destinations, the likes of The Bahamas tend to spring to mind. What many people don’t realise, though, is that some islands are better than others. With that in mind, The Abacos is at the top contender for many travellers, offering a peaceful setting that is packed full of secluded beaches and sleepy fishing areas. Steeped in history given its colonial past, this tropical destination has everything a tropical break away requires. Top places to stay on the island include Bahama Beach Club and The Delphi Club.

Bora Bora, Tahiti

A destination that is growing in reputation, Bora Bora is a South Pacific paradise that is hard to better anywhere else on the planet. Full of lush surroundings and crystal clear waters, this stunning location is a favourite with so many holidaymakers. Bora Bora offers a rich culture, with the island in French Polynesia speaking French, which is reflected in its delicious garlic-filled cuisine. Bora Bora also has an extensive selection of water sports, alongside being able to shark dive and hike in the tropical surroundings. In terms of places to stay, you can’t go wrong with the likes of The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort and Sofitel Bora Bora Private Island.

Maldives

A favourite destination for couples and honeymooners in particular, the Maldives is just about as good as it gets. While the high prices might put some people off, you most definitely get what you pay for in terms of high-quality treatment and an all-round luxurious holiday package. Popular resorts include AYADA Maldives and Kurumba Maldives, although there are plenty of options in a location that specialises in hospitality. The Maldives certainly possesses a huge dose of tropical features too, from its luminous blue waters to its bone-white beaches. Be sure to do some diving or snorkelling while you’re there, too.

Bali, Indonesia

Bali is simply beautiful. Alongside its tropical offering is a unique spiritual way of life that makes this luscious location ooze tranquility. Filled with temples and rice fields, plus its perfect beaches and extensive selection of tasty cuisine, Bali is a fantastic option for those who need a tropical getaway with a slight difference. Cheaper than many other options on the list but providing a high-quality package, this Indonesian province is well worth considering.
