Explore the languid coasts of Cinque Terre National Park and the Gulf of Poets, while relaxing on a sailing boat. Board on the boat at La Spezia harbor and view the colorful Mediterranean coast from another perspective, feel the marine breeze on your skin and be ready to have your senses awaken.
The enchanting Portovenere will be the first village to cross our horizon, followed by Lerici, two unmissable pearls of the Mediterranean sea. Admire the lush beauty of Palmaria and Tino Islands, before finally moving on to the Cinque Terre coastline and its picturesque, the world celebrated villages.[readmore] We will then stop in front of Vernazza, one of the most beautiful fishing villages in the area, to enjoy a delicious lunch on board. Regional specialty foods will be served such as Ligurian focaccia and anchovies.
After lunch, we finally dive into the ocean and enjoy a swim in the marine protected area. Last but not least, for those who would like to learn the basics of sailing, our English-speaking skipper is more than happy to show you the ropes! Be seduced by the beauty of nature and do not miss the opportunity of experiencing the Cinque Terre from the most natural perspective, the cobalt blue sea!
Assonautica dock (in La Spezia).
Exiting La Spezia Centrale train station, turn left, cross the roundabout and walk through the pedestrian place called Piazza Saint Bon.
Enter the pedestrian road Via Prione and follow it until the end where you’ll meet the public gardens. Walk through it, you will get to the sea.
Looking at the sea, you will have a white bridge on your right and the ferries’ dock on your left.
Go left. Walk past the Cinque Terre ferries dock, and you will see a wooden structure with “Assonautica” written on it: enter and wait in the sitting area for Arcangelo, your skipper.
It takes about 20 minutes walking from the train station to the pier.
