Afterward, the one day trip to Pisa from Florence goes on to Lucca. On arrival, our guides will give you free time to explore its streets on your own.
Lucca is a lovely medieval city with notable Renaissance influences. You can take a pleasant walk along the Lucca wall that protects the city as well as offers stunning views. Then, our guide will lead you to the historic city center to see Lucas most notable landmarks: Piazza Anfiteatro, Guinigi Tower, and St. Martins Cathedral. The tour ends with a typical local pastry tasting in a historic downtown café, before heading back to Florence.
