The Colosseum’s Underground Level has not been used, or visible, for 1700 years. Now you can visit the very place where gladiators prepared for their games and wild animals were kept before they were lifted up into the arena.
Backpacks and large bags are not allowed inside the Colosseum. Also there is no cloakroom service
Take into account that during the Colosseum arena visit the group could be bigger, maximum 24 people
