Girona is beautiful

Lovely day trip out, the old walled city is lovely. We would have loved to have more free time to explore and less of the guided tour.

It was fun and interesting

WOW! It was just my husband and I so it became a private tour. Marc was so knowledgeable and amazing. We highly recommend this to anyone who would like to dig deeper into Girona's history.

Good but could have been better

An hour of free time was nice but the tour could have started later because the free time given for lunch or other things was before most shops were serving lunch. Also our guide was nice but it seemed as though he wasn’t very comfortable and had perhaps only done a couple of tours before. Girona was pretty, we got some history, and the bus ride was comfortable.

Exploring the Streets of Girona

Once you’ve arrived, head in the direction of the old center. Allow yourself to get lost in the cobblestone streets. There is no shortage of charm everywhere you stroll; all parts of the city offer a unique selection of beauty in which to shower yourself. If you are a Game of Thrones fan, Girona is your paradise.

The most notable and iconic construction that appears in the series is the Cathedral of Girona. It’s stone steps, and impressive wide gothic nave is must-sees. In addition to the Girona Cathedral, streets like Bisbe Cartaña are incredibly picturesque, and the Arab baths nearby, are worth a photo as well.
