We had a very good visit. The bus always I’m time. The descriptions of the different sites were always informative.

35minutes. Quite good enough to enjoy this exciting performance. You can not watch this without tapping your feet or clapping with rythme.
it was greet. good team
Easy to book online. Friendly, well informed and helpful staff. Great bikes, easy to use, felt safe through entire journey. Guide (Maria) was an absolute delight, exuded passion for Catalan history and the city, took interest in us as people and safety conscious the entire time What a fabulous way to introduce people to Barcelona and it's delights, we covered key sights and the 2.5 hours passed in a blink. Be prepared for a longer tour if you ask loads of questions. Given time to browse a number of the sights although no local bars which was possibly wiser! Would highly recommend. One of our best experiences. Would even consider taking it again when we return in future. Thank you!
Hop-on hop-off definitely the way to get an overall picture of the city. We purchased the 2 day pass; did Green route first day and Red route 2nd day. It proved to be a cheap although not quick way to get around the city.

Barcelona has since stopped growing in geographical terms, but continued to expand in regards to its population. There are downsides to this, such as overcrowding and crazy house prices. However, having a large population means there is always something to do! Shops, bars, and galleries know there are millions of people, with plenty of cash, which is why they set up right here!
Barcelona is so big and has interesting sites spread throughout the city meaning it would be difficult to see everything. Take a look at your hop on hop off bus Barcelona map, and you will realize that walking between these sites will wear out your shoes! The open bus tour Barcelona doesn’t run from the airport, you have to take it from the center. Barcelona airport is in El-Prat about 30 minutes from the city center. There are buses (T1 & T2) that take passengers between the airport and city center (a one-way ticket is €5.90). You can also get the train from the airport for €4 which is usually the more comfortable (and cheaper) option.

Aside from the conserving your energy, you can enjoy the knowledge and experience of your expert guide! Barcelona has an intriguing history! Its involvement in the civil war and later political battles against dictators like Franco are truly fascinating. These stories are both interesting, and heartbreaking when you learn about the abuse residents suffered. These battles continue today, and you will surely have heard of the movement to make Catalonia independent.
It’s not all doom and gloom though! Ostentatious places such as Passeig de Gracia have an interesting history. The large buildings are decorated very interestingly, depicting the history and values of previous owners. Buildings like the Pedrera and Sagrada Familia are aesthetically pleasing even if you don’t know anything about them. However, information from a tour guide about the history and cause for their design adds a lot to the experience!
It is best to book in advance as you can often get a discount. Tours can sometimes fill up as hop on hop off bus Barcelona tours are so popular! There are Barcelona double-decker buses, so there are plenty of spaces but why take the risk? Don’t miss out! Be sure to reserve your place!
Anytime except for August. Much of the city shut down for holidays in August because it's simply too hot! The streets are packed with tourists and sellers. A much better time to visit is Spring or Late Summer/Early Autumn. At this time of year, you get to enjoy the great weather while avoiding the blistering heat of August! The hop on hop off bus Barcelona, allows you to enjoy the breeze and hop off to visit a gelateria!
Get the hop on hop off bus ticket! You will surely see amazing places that demand closer inspection such as the Gothic quarter or La Pedrera. Hop on hop off Barcelona tickets give you the freedom to explore at your pace and hop on again later!
An added tip is to stop off at the beach in the early evening when it starts to quieten down. The harsh sun recedes, and the Guiris go for dinner. This means you can dip your toes in the water or relax on the beach after your day of sightseeing after a Barcelona city tour.
Possibly the most useful tip for visiting Barcelona is to get the skip the line tickets. It would be a shame to have enjoyed your journey on the Barcelona bus tour only to have to wait in a queue! At almost any time of year, famous sites will likely have long lines of tourists. Instead of joining the back of a 2-3 hour line, skip the queue and get straight in to view awesome places like Sagrada Familia, Park Güell and Casa Batllo.
