Excellent explanation of what we sas

Without the guide, we would have missed over 3/4 of what we had to see. Being pointed to each scene & given an explanation enriched the tour immensely

The best building to visit

Easy to use audio guide. Direction to go signage throughout could have been better. But there is plenty to see. Elderly should be warned about the number of tight stairs. But the building is fabulous. There is plenty to see inside and outside. Touching is not prohibited.

Sagrada is a building not a drink!

I must have got this mixed up with sangria but I tried to order it in a bar and after having a good old laugh, he told me what it was. I jumped on google, found tickets with DoTravel and bam I went to see the actual Sagrada (Familia)! If you don't know your sangria from your sagrada, I can tell you they're both great!! I'm not sure which I prefer haha!

Gets you in, gets you through it. Highly recommended even for those who don't love Gaudi but are traveling with others who do.

Gaudi is the MAN!

This was so good, you know. Just like all that I found on the internet was photos which looked beautiful right but in person oh my gosh. My mind has been blown sky high through dat cathedral roof. I was think they should finish building it and why am I even going to a church but actually it's pretty cool to see it all being built and the guy who built it Gauidi is still looking down watching his massive church get built. Plus not expensive to see the most original church thats built in maybe a hundred years. DoTravel you Do Goooood!!

SAGRADA FAMILIA

Designed by “God’s Architect,” the Sagrada Familia takes pride of place in Barcelona. Standing tall in the elegant district of Eixample, this colossal basilica blends the traditions of both Gothic and Byzantine cathedrals. Although unfinished, the raw magnetism of the structure is undeniable. Even the hardened local has to fight not to raise their gaze and marvel at it's ornate facade and Sagrada Familia towers. It is a tourist mecca and the most visited attraction in Barcelona. So, naturally, getting Sagrada Familia tickets is a must for a complete Barcelona experience. But, because of just how popular the attraction is, it's always advisable to book the ticket for Sagrada Familia in advance.

One of the best things about the Sagrada Familia is that it only gets better when you head inside. Here, the full extent of Gaudi’s brilliance, artistry, and commitment to faith and nature come to life.

The columns that stretch up to the ceiling and branch out like forest trees support the structure. However, they also reflect Gaudi’s belief that nature and spirituality go hand in hand - that you can never be closer to God than in nature. A self-guided Sagrada Familia tour allows you to quietly lose yourself in this transcendent space.

However, a Sagrada Familia guided tour will bring to light the details of Gaudi’s cathedral explaining the intricate methods in which the stain glass windows were made and the meanings behind them. You can also gain further insight into the way in which Gaudi designed the way light would enter the nave.  The beautiful patterns and colors that reflect off of the walls and ceilings coming from thoughtfully placed windows that accentuate a sense of harmony and invite introspection.

The best time to visit the Sagrada Familia is before the crowds have descended. This is generally midweek in the mornings. You also want to go on a sunny day so that there is plenty of light. But, really, the most important thing is that you just get yourself a couple of Barcelona Familia Sagrada tickets, so you don’t miss out Sagrada Familia in Barcelona most spectacular sights.

The Sagrada Familia is a masterpiece of modern architecture. One of the greatest expressions of Christian faith ever constructed from stone. Antoni Gaudi’s Basilica de la Sagrada Familia is based on the traditions of Gothic and Byzantine cathedrals and expresses Christian belief through the beauty of its architecture. This was all done to reflect Gaudi’s firm belief that to be in nature was the closest a person could be to God.
