Great guiding in hidden areas of Trastevere. Our guide vere super nice and very informative. This is the autenthic Rome:-)
We got late night special access to the Colosseum Arena, it was great!
My wife and I really enjoyed our Colosseum night tour, and the addition of an aperitivo was definitely a nice touch.
You definitely can't pass up the Colosseum when you're in Rome, it would be a crime if you did, especially at this price!
The good things about this Colosseum entry tickets is that it's come with Colosseum underground tickets. so you don't have to buy separate tickets.
Lorena our guide was very good at explaining the use of the segway as this was our first time and we were allowed practice time which really helped. We visited many sites that we would not have covered or known about....all in all a great way to see central Rome!
If you think Rome is beautiful by day, then wait until the sun goes down. Wait until the night sky blankets the Italian capital. Can you imagine a stroll through the Centro Storico’s tangled knot of cobbled streets? All that under the soft orange hue of the street lights? An evening spent drinking Negronis and Aperol Spritz in a moonlight piazza? You see, cities find their providence in the magic and romance of night. In the moment when the heat of the day is but a distant memory and the morning no more than an idle notion. To capitalize on this, and make the most of Rome at night consider taking one of the many Rome night tours available.
To see Rome at night is to see the city through new eyes. Whether you’ve seen the Colosseum before or not, visiting it at night is a must. A Colosseum night tour means that not only do you get to experience one of Rome’s most iconic sites illuminated and after the crowds have gone, but it also means you gain access to what lies beneath it. Underneath the Colosseum are the spooky tunnels and cages only accessible as part of a tour. Places, where the gladiators, slaves and wild beasts were waited before going to battle it out in the arena above. Once you’ve explored the belly of the Colosseum, you are then shown the arena floor proper. Here, you can stand in the heart of the Colosseum at night. A quiet moment to imagine the roar of the crowds watching the bloody clashes unfold.
Alternatively, a Rome by night walking tour is another fantastic experience. Or, for those who like their tours a little more techy, you could try a Rome night Segway tour? Exploring the Centro Storico by night again means you get to avoid the hordes of tourists who flock to the area during the day. Stand in the quiet cool of the night and marvel at the striking sight of the Pantheon’s backlit columns, the illuminated waters of the Piazza Navona’s beautiful fountains, or the stunning scale of the Monument of Victor Emmanuel. For a different taste of the city consider Rome night tours or perhaps a Rome Night tour with dinner.
Rome during the day is spectacular. At night, it’s bewitching. Its monuments flooded in golden lighting against the night sky create an atmosphere that is hard to describe. Hitting the streets of Rome at night it’s definitely something to put on your to-do list.
Night tours are, in essence walking or Segway tours that take you around Rome at night. Their biggest advantage is the timing. In the evening, there are fewer people in the streets. Plus, you don’t have to spend hours in the sun and instead enjoy a cooler nighttime breeze.
You can absolutely enjoy Rome by night on your own, though we do highly recommend getting a guide. It’s a great way to get to know the city and enjoy looking at the sights with a bit more background information. Better yet, many of the night tours include a dinner or wine tasting.
In general, Rome is a very safe city. That is not to say you should throw all caution and common sense to wind. Crime happens everywhere so you should keep your usual guards up. Watch out for:
The price ranges from 25 € to 100 € depending on what is included in the price. Rome night tours that include dinner or tickets to one of the monuments will be pricier.
