Step aboard a heated, comfortable coach and let your enthusiastic, local guide tell you all about the natural wonders of Iceland’s magnificent south coast.
Depending on the weather, the sites may be visited in a different order. You will get to experience the Skógafoss Waterfall, which was featured on the HBO series Game of Thrones, as well as the Seljalandfoss Waterfall, which you can walk behind, in between the water and the rock. You’ll get a bit wet, but it’s one of the few places in the world where you can do this!
Following the waterfall visits, you’ll head to Reynisfjara Beach, a stunning black sand beach, created by the volcanic rock that formed Iceland millions of years ago. This beach is often regarded as one of the most beautiful in the world.
You will also get the chance to hike a glacier, specifically, the Sólheimajökull Glacier, which has dominated the landscape for centuries. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to not only hike a glacier, but drink from it, too.
This tour is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, and it is a great way to explore southern Iceland’s wild side in the space of one day.
