The estate and its wines have been continually decorated with prestigious international awards – most recently the Decanter World Wine Award, Sommelier Wine Award, Vinitaly Cangrande Award and Calix Aureus award – confirming the Pallavicini name as the top wine producer of the Latium region. Here, you’ll experience over 200 acres of breathtakingly beautiful vineyards, secular olive trees and ancient ruins that are a testament to the rich history of the property.

Your guide will lead you on a walk throughout the estate where you’ll learn about all phases of the Pallavicini wine production and how it evolved from antiquity until today. You’ll step inside stunning 3rd century caverns lined with Acacia and French Oak barrels where wines are stored to age. You’ll be surprised to learn that this incredible underground cellar was built into the ruins of an Ancient Roman aqueduct that once passed through this land. 

Your visit culminates in a professional tasting lead by the Pallavicini’s professional sommerlier. You’ll have the opportunity to try a fine selection of the same wines that earned the Pallavicini family its most recent awards and recognitions. You’ll discover two red wines, the ‘Casa Romana’ and ‘Soleggio’, a white wine ‘Poggio Verde’ and the celebrated dessert wine ‘Stillato’. All are produced with great attention given to the finest details of the production, from the manual harvest of the grapes to the refining process in barrels and in the bottle. 

The result are wines that, through their colors, perfumes and flavors, transmit the unique characteristics of the land to the taster. We’ll even have the opportunity to taste the Pallavicini’s signature fresh-pressed olive oil. The tasting is lead in an ideal setting – a gorgeous 17th century farmhouse in the center of the property.
