Your English-speaking chauffeur will meet you at your accommodation in Rome at 7:00 AM. After a three-hour drive, you will arrive at Tenuta Vannulo, a farm-factory producing "mozzarella di bufala" cheese, which this area is famous for. The helpful staff there will show you the many phases of the production, the chocolate and yogurt industry and the breeding process in a one-hour tour.
Taste the exquisite products of the factory and have lunch in the restaurant, including main course (two types of pasta), home-grown vegetables, mozzarella di bufala and ricotta cheese, home-made bread, gelato, yogurt, wine and coffee. You will have some time to explore the ancient city, visiting Greek temples and Roman buildings, rich in history and beauty. Paestum was a major ancient Greek city on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea in Magna Graecia (southern Italy).
The ruins of Paestum are famous for their three ancient Greek temples in the Doric order, dating from about 600 to 450 BC, which are in a very good state of preservation. At 15:30 PM, we will leave Paestum and return to Rome by 19:00 PM. What a day!
