Day 1: Colombo - Kandy

Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic a UNESCO World Heritage Site which was built in the 16th century as the place of veneration and protection for Lord Buddha’s sacred tooth. Day 2: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Pass by: Nuwara Eliya Golf Course, Grand Hotel Road, Nuwara Eliya. Head towards Nuwara Eliya The ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls, Hindu temples, Garden and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coolest places in the Island, but it is really just like an English spring day, although the temperature does drop at night. Visit Bluefield Tea Gardens, Ramboda, Nuwara Eliya. Stop at a Tea Estate and experience the Tea Plucking and then Proceed to a Tea Factory to see how Pure Ceylon Tea are prepared.

Day 3: Nuwara Eliya

Visit the Gregory Lake, Strawberry Farm and more Horton Plains National Park, Nuwara Eliya Sri Lanka. Horton Plains National Park is a protected area in the central highlands of Sri Lanka and is covered by montane grassland and cloud forest. This plateau at an altitude of 2,100–2,300 meters is rich in biodiversity and many species found here are endemic to the region. This region was designated a national park in 1988. It is also a popular tourist destination and is situated 8 kilometers from Ohiya, 6 kilometers from the world-famous Ohiya Gap/Dondra Watch and 32 kilometers from Nuwara Eliya. The Horton Plains are the headwaters of three major Sri Lankan rivers, the Mahaweli, Kelani, and Walawe. In Sinhala, the plains are known as Maha Eliya Plains. Stone tools dating back to Balangoda culture have been found here. The plains' vegetation is grasslands interspersed with montane forest and includes many endemic woody plants. Large herds of Sri Lankan sambar deer feature as typical mammals and the park is also an Important Bird Area with many species not only endemic to Sri Lanka but restricted to the Horton Plains.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya - Ella

Ella Rock, Ella Main Street NECS-Nature Exploration and Conservation Society Sri Lanka, Ella. Proceed to Ella 127 miles from Colombo and 8 miles from Bandarawela, on the leeward side of the central mountains. The view from Ella Gap is one of the most spectacular scenic sights in Sri Lanka - the landscape falls away in a dizzy drop of 3000ft to the eastern plains. The Ella rock is famous for the cave of Ravana a legendary king of Sri Lanka ruled during the pre-historic times. The 1080 foot high waterfall few miles from the Ella Rest House is one of the most beautiful falls in the country. Demodara Nine Arch Bridge, Gotuwala, Ella The Nine Arch Bridge in Ella is on the Demodara loop and spans 91 meters at a height of 24m. The beautiful nine arches make it a very picturesque spot especially as it is located in a dense jungle and agricultural setting. Behind the railway, a forest is booming and below, tea leaves are being cultivated.

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya - Ella

Visit Udawalawe National Park Sri Lanka Proceeds to Udawalawe National Park Rich in elephant population the park is having an estimated 500 or more elephants. They roam about in herds of 50-100 at times. The park is known to be a good breeding ground, for Baby elephants, guarded by their elders is seen around the year. Get on a 4x4 Jeep and experience the Jungle Safari seeing many wild animals. Pass By: Old Town of Galle and its Fortifications, Galle. Head to Galle and Overnight stay.

LAST DAY: Galle - Colombo

Sri Lanka’s most historically interesting town Galle. It was a major port until about 100 years, but today still handles shipping and sailing boats in the natural Harbour. Stroll around the lighthouse and Harbour or visit the old town where you can see the traditional lace makers and wood carvers and purchase some of the finest souvenirs. You will discover Galle fort, Galle lighthouse and Galle beach. Pass by Bandaranaike International Airport Proceed to the Airport en route via Turtle Hatchery and end your beautiful Vacation in Sri Lanka.
