The Mountain Train Experience takes you through dramatic Alpine scenery to discover a historic and emblematic train line and two villages shaped by distinctive history and wildlife. Expect a memorable full-day adventure that pairs gentle rail travel with an invigorating hike among sculpted sandstone blocks often described as a "rain of meteors".


Along the route, you will find rock shelters, a unique geological site known as the "King's Room" and stretches of centuries-old chestnut trees forming a majestic, fragrant forest.
