Awesome tour and knowledgeable guide, Kate. SHe gave us lots of tips for the rest of the trip! though, the streets were very busy as it was Easter, so dodging the pedestrians was a challenge. Overall I highly recommend it, less tiring then walking tour.

Great Guide

Visiting the Duomo itself is a beautiful thing, but I am really glad I booked the complete tour. I learned so much that I would have missed if I had only visited on my own.

Fast-track

The fast-track access saved me from a lot of stress. I personally hate standing in lines and I get very anxious in crowds which is why I was really happy I didn't have to wait too long to enter.

Florence Italy Tours: Know Before You Go

  • Note museum closing times - When you plan your Florence museum guided tours, remember that most museums and galleries close on Mondays. The Museo dell' Opera del Duomo is the only one that stays open every day of the week.
  • Late dinner - Italians usually eat dinner around 9 pm, although many restaurants are open until 7:30 pm. Plan your wine and food tour ahead of time. Don’t miss out on tasting traditional Italian cuisine.
  • Be aware of Stendhal Syndrome - The idea of the Florence Syndrome is that seeing outstanding works of art can cause dizziness, confusion, rapid heartbeat, and disorientation. Be careful and take care of yourself while visiting the monuments and museums on your guided Uffizi tour.
